Where are we?
Monkey Bay Backpackers is situated in the heart of Ballito on the Dolphin Coast. It is the closest backpackers to the new King Shaka airport, only 20 minutes away. We do airport transfers. It is also less than 5 minutes to all shopping centres. There are shops, restaurants, laundromat, doctors rooms and dentist right next to our premises, we are also 120m from the main beach.
About us
The lodge is tastefully decorated in a rustic, artistic way giving our guests the true African experience. Thanks to loads of indoor and outdoor space, nothing will cramp your style. Ballito is known for its awesome surfing conditions and we have 25 surfboards for rent from our surf shack.
