Sodwana Bay
Sodwana is part of the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Parl. It is popular with scuba divers and snorkellers for its diversity of fish and invertebrates and its collection of hard and soft corals. The waters are warm, seldom dropping below 20 C and average visibility is 15m and can reach 30m.

Diving and snorkelling
Diving is a year-round activity in Sodwana Bay but the best diving is from April to September. There are a number of dive sites to choose from. Whale sharks, ragged-tooth sharks, humpbacks & southern right whales are seasonally spotted. Dolphins and a variety of other fish are spotted often.
Turtle walks and tours
During summer, female loggerhead and leatherback turtles leave the ocean and nest on the beach. These tours head out at night to the nesting grounds.
Lake Sibaya
Lake Sibaya is the biggest fresh water lake in south Africa. You can spot the hippos that live in the lake and admire its unspoilt beauty.
